This Mandela Day, Glasfit is proud to announce our partnership with Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels initiative to support New Hope School, a beacon of hope for learners with disabilities in Pretoria.
Established in 1971, New Hope School provides exceptional education and training to learners with various challenges, including cerebral palsy, physical disabilities, and learning disorders. Their nurturing environment fosters academic, emotional, spiritual, creative, and social growth, preparing students for a bright future. Their impressive matric pass rate is a testament to their dedication and expertise.
Unveiling Potential Through Partnership
Glasfit, recognising the crucial role New Hope School plays in empowering learners, has pledged its support as the project’s glass partner.
“We are honoured to partner with Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels and New Hope School on this inspiring initiative,” says Meyer Jordaan, National Franchise Manager at Glasfit. “We believe in the transformative power of education, and New Hope School’s dedication to its learners truly embodies the spirit of Nelson Mandela.”
Glasfit’s commitment extends beyond materials. We’ll be leveraging our extensive network to ensure the new Special Needs Training Facility has the necessary windows, shower doors, and mirrors. Additionally, our skilled technicians will provide installation services and valuable expertise to guide the project’s success.
New Hope School: The Key to Success
New Hope School’s vision, “The Key to Success. Hope for a Better Tomorrow,” deeply resonates with Glasfit. The Special Needs Training Facility will equip learners and graduates with valuable skills in hairdressing, baking, beauty treatments, technical trades, and crafts, empowering them for a fulfilling future.
Glasfit’s partnership with Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels on Mandela Day exemplifies the power of collaboration for social good. By joining forces, we aim to unlock the potential within New Hope School’s learners and contribute to a more inclusive and empowered society.
The morning ended on a positive note when it was announced that the more than R800 000 was raised to complete the Special Needs Training Facility project.
Let’s celebrate the spirit of Mandela and make a difference together!
